We were driving and from the road we saw this waterfall. It was near a power plant and looked pretty pretty.
A few of the geocaches were a mile into the woods near this bridge.

There was a path that let to this holding pond. It was a really overcast day but the fall colors were nice even though they were just starting.

We didn't stop for a while.. mainly because im sure I fell asleep and Neil didn't like stopping ALL THE TIME! We got into Portland, Maine around 7ish and we were set on having Lobster in Maine. Our hotel suggested Dimillo's which was a big boat converted into a restaurant. I think I would have preferred something a little different but it wasn't bad. Just a bit more formal than we were thinking. Neil had a whole lobster and I had lobster ravioli. It was yummy.

The next morning we got up before sunrise. Well, we ended up getting lost and didnt get to the lighthouse until WAY after sunrise so that was poopy. So this is what we came up with...

Then I broke the macro out and captured some dewy goodness!

We followed the map and found another lighthouse. This one was really tiny.

beautiful! and of course, Maine Lobster
Oooh, I love Maine, and it's so exciting to see places I recognize. I've been to Dimillos! The water was really rough when we went, so the barge was swaaaaying, it was an interesting meal. And I've been to the smaller lighthouse too, the one with the rock walk out to it. But I didn't get nearly as good of pictures as you did, great photos :-)
